The one thing about this time of year is that once the clouds, rain and the ocean wind disappear, the sun does a good job of trying to warm things up. Given the weather pattern we are in at least we are experiencing pleasant conditions when we have the sun out there. Temperatures at least bounced back into the 70s today and that is where we are sitting this evening with a nice northwest breeze.
The next cold front is due on Tuesday and this will bring in clouds after some morning sun and the chance for a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening though no severe weather is expected. Then another shot of cool air comes in for Wednesday and the air aloft will be cold and unstable so some clouds are likely to develop and a brief shower can't be ruled out.
Long range we see more of the same which means we will start to warm up toward the end of the week and bring in the chance for showers over the weekend. For more on the long range weather pattern and where we are going see the latest long range post on METEOROLOGISTJOECIOFFI.COM
